<< BackCollege of Business Maintains Accreditation
The McNeese State University College of Business has earned the maintenance of accreditation for its undergraduate and graduate degree programs in business from AACSB International, according to Dr. Mitchell Adrian, dean of the McNeese College of Business. The McNeese College of Business was initially accredited by AACSB in 1989.
“AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business
education and has been earned by less than 5 percent of the world's
business schools,” said Adrian.“Maintaining
our accreditation is an indication that our College of Business not
only has a quality program that delivers high quality education to our
students but that also our college meets the demanding standards
established by AACSB, ” he added.
Founded
in 1916, AACSB is the longest serving global accrediting body for
business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees
in business and accounting. Today, there are 607 business schools in 38 countries that maintain AACSB accreditation.
“Accreditation by AACSB is evidence of the quality of our academic
programs at McNeese. Our business graduates have the knowledge and
skills that make them competitive with graduates from any university
anywhere,” said Adrian.
