MSU offers summer camps for children and teens
The McNeese Leisure Learning office offers numerous classes this summer for children of all ages—classes in cooking, painting, video game design, comic book drawing, Spanish, golf, forensic science, math and so much more.
MSU Visual Arts student wins award
Tiffany Pruitt, a MSU visual arts student from Vinton, won the Outstanding Merit in Photography award at the Juried Student Art Exhibition held in conjunction with the inaugural Academic Summit held recently on the McNeese campus.
MSU offers summer biochemistry internship program on alligators
Studying alligators, chemistry and biology will be the focus of a three-week summer internship program for high school students July 16-Aug. 3 at MSU.
Summer electronic courses offered
Regular registration for the three summer sessions is currently underway through May 30. Classes begin June 6 for the regular summer session and the first mini-session, while classes for the second mini-session begin June 27.
ULS Releases "Beyond Economic Impact"
The University of Louisiana System has released Beyond Economic Impact, a companion publication to its economic and community impact report. The electronic publication features workforce impacts, profiles of faculty members, events on campuses, service-learning activities, and an inside look at days in the life of faculty at the nine universities.
